Ministry Marketing Plan: Mind Mapping To Success

Ministry Marketing Plan Online: Mental Mapping to Success

You may be at a crossroads wondering which direction do you take to begin your ministry marketing plan online.  Where do you begin. What plan do you choose. Who do you choose to learn basic internet marketing steps? Is it possible for  mental mapping to success?

Do you have a road map? Do you have a clear vision in your mind that matches the dream behind the God given destiny?

I love the verse... Book of Proverbs chapter 23 verse 7, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

I remember growing up seeing that verse on my dad's desk in the den. On one side he had his name, and the other that verse. I didn't quite understand it then. But now I fully understand the power of the mind!

Here is an amazing fact:  Your brain is capable of change and makes 5000 new cells
per day. This is called neuroplasticity.

So if you ever find yourself afraid to learn something new and are tempted to say, "I'm too old," you can banish this thought.

Science proves that you can learn and change all throughout your life.

Which all leads me to the term "mental mapping".

Understanding the importance of having a "mental map", as Jesse Duplantis explains in new book, "Evey Day Visionary", is a key beginning point.

You may be convinced of this God given destiny, but you still have to make choices to go in the direction of it. You need purpose and direction. Your thoughts and dreams must have an intent that gets the "ball rolling" to move! To begin a ministry market plan may be as simple as seeing yourself take advantage of social media, video marketing, and blogs to see your ministry/band/ or organization all over the internet.

No doubt action to what you are mental mapping is key!

A mental map means you take the time to focus, pray, and allow the idea to develop into action. For our purpose here, it could mean as simple as watching all the videos in the ministry marketing video series, or reading the free book from Stephen Pierce.

The focus coupled with the action produces the road map...the mental map, to your final destination to begin that marketplan ministry.

I highly recommend you get this book by Jesse Duplantis as you begin.

In his book, Duplantis gives an example of the beginning stages of how he got his dream of preaching to the World on TV started. His beginning actions included sharing the idea with key people and being faithful in his local area preaching the Word around southern Louisiana. As he preached and shared, people would come up to him and comment on how they were encouraged and could see him on television someday.

With the verbal support came financial support which propelled him to the next step: Hiring the local cable network to video tape him as he shared and preached looking into the television camera. He scheduled a week and had 25 programs recorded.

Duplantis then hired a production company to produce and edit the introductions and closing to his program which had key information containing his ministry's address and phone number. He then purchased air time, once again locally, and his video began to be aired on the local Cox television station in Louisiana.

Soon people were writing in with prayer requests, support and asking for more material.

The rest is history. Jesse Duplantis is now seen Worldwide on a number of networks. He not only has his ministry program on Christian Networks such as The Trinity Broadcast Network (TBN), Daystar, but also on the major networks of ABC, NBC, CBS,and Fox Television!

Jesse also got a vision of having his own airplane for his ministry one day. At the time, he was driving a vehicle that coughed and sputtered when it went down the road.

Jesse did not focus on his broke, busted, and disgusted means of transportation but on the Word God spoke to him personally. He learned not to share that "pearl" with just anyone also. Year after year Jesse remained faithful to the call of God in his life.

He sowed and sowed...and reaped and reaped...and sowed again. Hundreds became thousands and thousands, hundred of thousands, and...

Just a year ago, Jesse did not just have a plane but an intercontinental jet in his arsenal to reach the world for Jesus.

So write the vision out, make it clear, and put some action to the dream!!

Habakkuk 2:2-3

"Write the vision and make it plain on tablets,That he may run who reads it,For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and not lie.Though it tarries, wait for it;Because it will surely come,It will not tarry."

Chrisitan Marketing: 3 Steps To Success Online

Three Christian Marketing Steps For Online Promotion And Christian Home Business

These three Christian marketing steps can be a great starting point whether you are looking to promote your ministry online or trying to earn extra money with your Christian home business.

I recently attended a seminar with internet marketing great Stephen Pierce, and special guest, Power Team International founder, Bill Walsh. I received amazing wisdom from these men who are at the top of their fields in internet marketing and network marketing businesses.

I took lots of notes and found these three business keys you can use in your Christian marketing steps or Christian home based business plan.

You can look at them as Christian marketing steps or Christian home business blocks.

If you are ready to make a difference in your marketing plan online, whether it's for Christian promotion of your ministry or simply to find ways to earn extra money online, I believe these three points will prove beneficial to you!

A-C-T Three Ministry Marketing Steps

The three steps spell ACT:

  • A: A stands for assess. This means assess where you are now in your ministry marketing or work from home business. Are you in the beginning and wondering where to go? Or are you in the middle with frustration and aggravation because you see no results, no traffic, no resources gained?

Just acknowledge where you are and go on from there. Don't condemn or judge, just use this as your starting point.

  • C Choose to act. Choose to begin to make good choices on what to feed your mind. Choose positive images and words. Make a choice that you are going to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and you are going to walk out that faith with work!

Choose wisely with the coaches and mentors who can play a role in your ministry or business plan. Commit to not just learning but applying what you learn.

Commit and recommit every day to maintaining your relationship with God. Yes, it is a pivotal role in your ministry and business! God can download information, wisdom and strategy in your time with Him in the Word, like no other person.

Choose personal development as a priority. That might mean attending a seminar, from Dani Johnson to Kenneth Copeland to Stephen Pierce. God will reveal the mentors and teachers to you. You simply have to choose to trust Him for the provision, direction and simply GO...choose to ACT...WORK!

  • T  Thankful:  Be thankful. Find joy in your journey today. Don't let your longing for something in the future slay your appetite for living today! Don't allow your present circumstances determine your future.

God will prepare you for your destiny. Don't freak out during the preparation. The process is the preparation for your destiny!

Think about it. Would a father give his 11 year old son keys to his NASCAR style race car? I think not.

If he was grooming his son for a racing career, I believe he'd start with the small racing style cars and work his son up from stage to stage to get to that NASCAR car.

Imagine the thrill of that Father when he sees his son (or daughter) be patience, work and learn how to be the best race car driver each stage of that destiny. (I wonder if this is how the late Dale Earnhardt felt about his son?)

Finally, remember that the One Who has given you the vision will provide the provision. Where God calls, He enables.

    Some final thoughts:

"Our words are containers. They contain our destiny." - Jesse Duplantis

"No one's opinion is as important as your destiny." - Stephen Pierce

God calls us not to be mountain climbers, but mountain dissolvers!" - Jesse Duplantis

Ministry Marketing Video Series: Keys To Success Online

Ministry Marketing Videos: Tips For Christian Promotion And Marketing

Recently I produced some ministry marketing videos to answer questions about ministry marketing online, Christian promotion, and how to earn money on the internet. These are short videos that attempt to answer basic questions I get asked and e-mailed from various people involved in wanting to market their ministry for promotion, and from earnest believers desiring to find ways to earn extra money.

The bottom line here is helping you harness the power of the internet so you can be free to serve Him. It's not about spamming an opportunity or making up filler material.

The premise of this lies in the following interview I had with ministry marketing expert Pam Perry. You can listen to this interview here!

Ministry Marketing Plan Online: A Real Success Story

The S-P-E-A-K Ministry Marketing Plan

The beginning of this ministry marketing plan online starts with the power of what you say!

I begin this video series with a short video on why you need to market online. You can view that video here.

From there I share the heart of these ministry marketing videos centering on the acronym SPEAK.

In basic form here it is:

S S stands for specific market. A basic marketing principle where you need to identify your target market or your niche you are trying to reach.

P P stands for precise (and proven!) marketing strategies. The key to ministry marketing, Christian promotion, and finding how to earn money on the internet lies in finding and implementing these precise marketing strategies.

E E stands for excellence. Let everything you do as you work and serve others be with a spirit of excellence!

A A stands for action! You must move and work toward your vision. Many of the ministry marketing videos will tell you what action to need to take to have a successful marketing plan online! This is putting your faith to work!!

K K stands for kneel. You must humble yourself before the Lord and maintain your relationship with Him. This is a vital key for life!

SPEAK - The Glue That Holds It All Together!

And yes, this spells

SPEAK

. The glue that holds this plan together is you speaking words of life over your vision, your ministry, your family, your ministry. As it says

Proverbs 18:21: "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

Here is a video recapping this. The ministry marketing videos will go in detail on this plan in addition to other basic marketing tips.

Ministry Marketing Mistake: Avoid This!

Ministry Marketing Mistake To Avoid Online

What is the number one mistake ministry marketing mistake people make in their marketing plan online?

Real easy answer. They try to sell!

They operate out of fear ( "I have to pay that bill…I need to make money for my ministry") and that results in trying to push their services and products on people.

It happens not just ministry marketing mistake, but also business marketing mistake on the internet.

Check out the majority of posts on twitter.

What do you see?

Yep. SPAM city.

But you don't have to make that mistake.

Check this video out:

Learn a lesson from my mentor to avoid this ministry marketing mistake.

As you might know, friend,Stephen Pierce started out in the futures and commodities niche ten years ago.

He gave away free daily trades five days a week for a year.He shared more details than most paid advisory services.

He didn't make any money that first year. He focused on providing value, even though he was homeless for part of this time and was in desperate need of money.

He knew he was onto something when he took a vacation and phones started ringing. People were upset because they were dependent on his free daily trades.

Most marketers don't start out the way Stephen did. And he has amplified to me this error. I see it everywhere. I cringe if I see someone make this ministry marketing mistake on Facebook or Twitter.

The #1 mistake most marketers make when starting out is to sell something right away.

They create a website and begin selling their own product or an affiliate product, or ministry book, etc They go on twitter other other social media sites and push and push the product.

This seems like such a logical thing to do but it misses a very important step.... creating value.

3 Steps To Create Value

So here are 5 steps you can take to create value so you can create wealth....a clear path to avoid a ministry marketing mistake in your market plan:

1.) Instead of asking yourself "what should I sell?" ask yourself, "Am I truly providing value?"

One way to determine if you're providing value is to ask yourself if what you have would be missed if it was made unavailable for a time.

2.) Share your value through social influence. Condition your market in such a way that people will automatically click when you put something out. Focus on contributing to your market. Focus on serving.

3.) Showcase your ability by building social capital. Social capital can only be earned by sharing and by showing. You can't buy it. Share and show....don't sell and spam.

4.) Find the GAP in your market. GAP = Goals, Activities,Priorities. When you know the GAP, things like writing copy, producing a ministry video, writing a book, creating a marketing plan..... and delivering value become easy.

5.) Value increases something people in your market want more of or decreases something they want less of. Sometimes these are simultaneous.

Take a sheet of paper. On the right side write the word "increase." On the left side write the word "decrease." Look at how your product or service or ministry increases what your market wants and decreases what they don't want.

When you create value in this way you won't be able to stop the resources from coming in. When you serve with integrity and in a spirit of excellence, more opportunities will come your way!

Ministry Marketing: 4 Steps To a Action Plan

4 Strategies For Your Ministry Marketing Plan To Build Momentum Online

Are you one of those people that believe that you just don't have the time to get your ministry marketing up and running so you promote your ministry, t make money online and gain provision for your vision? You are not alone. Many people who email me or I talk to claim they have too much to do and not enough time to do it. They wind up defeating themselves and their business looses momentum and suffers.

Full time jobs, family obligations, maintaining health, and too many other distractions are the main reasons for not building momentum for their ministry marketing. You can wind up feeling that your life is spent catering to every one else's obligations.

If you are a work at home mom, you can add laundry, cooking meals, taxing the kids around town to that list!

However, I have some good news! You can find and maximize time to build momentum for your marketing, whether that is for your ministry or business!. All you need is to find time and commit to use that time for your ministry marketing only. Try the following strategies to make your ministry marketing plan flourish.

Document Your Daily Routine

The first thing you will need to do find a quiet place and write down your schedule. Document the start and end time on events like getting ready for work, driving your kids to school, your commute to your day job, gym time and any other weekly commitments you have. Don't forget to include weekends and family time, or fellowship at your church. (this is most important).

After completing this exercise you should have a good visual of what your work week looks like for your internet home based business. You should see openings in your week. Make your goal easy: try to find two hours you can commit to spend on your business. You should be able to re-prioritize some time.

Stay with the Schedule You Created and Re-Evaluate

The next thing you need to do is stick with your schedule. This can be tough because you are creating a new habit. I have read that a new habit takes 21 days to become just that, a habit. Once you get the hang of your new routine, you should always re-evaluate your schedule. You may be able to find more time to spend on your internet home based business.

For example, you may have a day time show you really like. All I can say is…"Will watching Oprah help me make money for my family?" This might be harder than you think, but…

You can always record a show and just prioritize the time to watch later…maybe with your husband!

Sticking with your schedule means you need to discipline yourself to work this internet home based business. This means that you have to find a way after work, after little league games, after dinner and after putting the kids to bed.

Don't Forget Your Family!

I'm preaching to myself on this one! I can be so passionate about something, or get so into creating a video, or creating a blog for a client, that I lose my priorities.

So, spending time with my family is always a top priority for me. I have two young children who have seen me on the computer enough. I try teaching them what I'm learning. For example, I showed my 7 year old how we could create an auto blog about a passion of his: reading. We together put up the blog

and we are enjoying watching it grow! This gives me a chance to show him ways to make money online and explain some of the methods I'm using. What a lesson! He calls me his "techy mom".

If you have to use your family time to spend on your business, make sure you communicate with your family so they have an expectation of what you are doing. However, I would recommend that you set a time limit so you can spend that time you want with your family. This will provide balance for you.

Embrace Distractions

As we all know life also throws us off schedule. Try your best to embrace that fact instead of fighting it. If your child stays up late, focus on helping your child quiet down and go to sleep. Try not to focus on what you could be doing. Don't worry. Don't stress. The work will still be there when you are ready.

If you have to stay late at your day job, then choose to work late. Usually, you'll find that it is better just to focus on one thing at a time. You will be more efficient and effective. Having a clear and guilt free mind while working on your business is most productive.

To handle new ideas that can distract you while you are working, keep an MP3 Recorder handy so if an idea comes up you can record it or write down the idea in a notebook. You can always prioritize those thoughts at a later time. You will also find that you are using less energy dealing with distractions instead of fighting them.

Continue With Your Personal Development

Click On CD Case Shown Here To The Left To Learn More

Finally, find ways to continue to grow in your self development. That is so important. Read books. Find authors and speakers that connect with your heart. Some of my favorite teachers and mentors include Dani Johnson, Stephen Pierce, Doug Firebaugh andJentezen Franklin. I also use my time in my car to listen to mp3's of training. Many phones today, such as the I-phone, are a internet home based business marketers dream tools. We can listen to mp3's, watch training videos, and really use it as a tool to learn and grow!

As you continue with your own personal development, the passion is stirred or rekindled to keep your vision alive amidst the daily tasks. Nothing like passion to keep momentum going!

Better yet, if you have the time and finances, invest in yourself and attend a seminar. I recommend Dani Johnson's First Steps to Success! I've attended two of them and always came back refreshed and ready to take on the challenges. And I learned so much about myself and what it takes to succeed at her seminars!

So there is good news when it comes to finding time to work on your own ministry marketing plan

.

Don't despair and don't get frustrated. Just remember that you have total control of your time and you alone can change your habits to build your businesses momentum.

You hold the keys. The doors are ready to be opened for your future. Go forward. Don't look back. And don't be afraid to dream big!
