Making money for ministry by learning how to harness the power of the internet to create wealth and discover ministry marketing with social media and web 2.0 strategies.
So we continue on with this series on market plan focus and how improving your focus can play a key role in your business or ministry marketing success.
Step one was to F, fix your eyes on the ultimate destination, your goal. Step two involved O, only spend the most time on those things which produce results. C, was simply to clear your mind of all negative thoughts and replace with clear positive mental maps to that destination desired.
Which brings us to step four. This key provides a solid foundation to maintaining focus to the end. Clearly states, U stands for understanding the need to be steadfast.
Being steadfast means you are fixed in a direction, not easily moved, firm in purpose and faith.
You’ll need to be steadfast to fight the arrows of the enemy of doubt, defeat, and discouragement.
Anything worth your time to obtain is going to have its highs and lows. I'm sure you can remember a valley or peak in areas of your life.
This step will literally help you pull yourself out of a deep pit, if you so happen to fall into despair, doubt, or deep discouragement!
In 1 Corinthians 15:58 is a great verse of scripture to hang onto in regards to carrying out this step:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
When you know God has called you to do something, you have to be rock solid and committed in your attitude. That in itself refines your focus. This steadfastness helps you fight against the enemies attack on your mind, like we discussed about with negative thoughts in step 3.
Being determined to commit to walking out the path to get to your desired destination is a day by day decision. Every day youmay have to re-commit to those things you have determined to do.
One great thing is as you learn to be steadfast, it helps sharpen your focus on what your are determined to see happen...whether in your ministry or personal life!
So make up your mind to fully understand the importance of being steadfast, fixed, rooted, grounded, established, and glued to your purpose, whether it’s for ministry, business, or yourdestiny!
And...don't grow weary. Let the Word sustain you as you hold on to it to keep your head up and your faith strong amidst the wonderful journey to seeing your vision fulfilled!

This is a three part series from the fundraising ideas and tips series to help with steps toward success in business or ministry marketing.
Market Plan Focus: Step 3 To Business or Ministry Marketing Success
Step three to market plan focus for business and ministry marketing success is crucial because it has to do with your mind.
Such power is given to us in the mental area. But we have to use it correctly and wisely!
So F is to focus on the destination; O is to work a higher percentage on those things that bring the results; and C is clear your mind of negative and communicate positive it its place.
Romans 12:1 tells us ...”and do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will ofGod.”For some that may mean as simple as to turn the television news off and not read negative headlines in the newspapers for a while! This requires a discipline to stop the negative thoughts. Those negative thoughts often become words which become pictures in your mind.
So when the negative comes you have to say “stop” to it! You have to train your tongue.
For example, when I start to get a headache, I don’t say, “I feel terrible. I think I’m getting sick...”
No! I don’t deny the reality but I speak faith ( I am healed ) to replace the negative. As it says in the Word: “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it willeat its fruit.” (Proverbs 18:21)
You might be challenged to learn a new skill or start a new venture. Instead of thinking about the times you failed or loss money, yo need to say, “I can do this.”A key to clear your mind of the negative is to form a mental map of the positive. This means a picture in your mind where you seeyourself achieving the desired result. The mind does not know thedifference between what is reality or not.
If I see a snake, my mind is going to kick in and I’ll try to get as far away from it as I can. Never mind if it’s a rubber snake my kid’s placed in the yard to scare me. Until I inform my mind it’s not real, I’m going to act like it’s a real slithering menace of a snake!
Power of the Word Of God
Clearing your mind of negative is the quickest way to reduce fear and bring faith. I can think of no better way to do this than by constantly washing and renewing your mind by the Word of God!
Some of my greatest battles in life had to do with fear. When I got to the root of it, I always found the decaying negative thoughts that wanted to destroy my faith.
The battle ground is set. But you have the victory!“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” (2(2 Corinthians 10:5)
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4)

Support A21 Campaign
This welcome from Firebrand Ministry includes a word on how you can play a role in helping support the A21 Campaign with your internet searching and shopping by downloading a internet search tool bar.
The A21 Campaign, lead by Christine Caine, is comprised of individuals, organizations, government officials, and people like you who are committed to abolishing injustice in the 21st century. Their goal is to raise awareness, take legal action where appropriate, and offer rehabilitation services to rescued victims of human trafficking in order to fight this injustice from a comprehensive approach. Additionally, the A21 Campaign wants to branch out to address this issue from a preventative standpoint, aiming to cripple the human trafficking trade so there are fewer victims that need to be rescued. Human Trafficking is an organized criminal industry that affects every nation. Whilst the statistics can seem overwhelming, it is important to remember that every number represents the life of a victim. The A21 Campaign has recognized a significant need in the region of Eastern Europe, and is committed to combating this injustice through rescuing one life at a time. LIFE FOR A SEX TRAFFICKING VICTIM
After a trafficking journey that typically involves deception, rape, beatings, and constant threats, victims are often forced to live in confining and unsanitary conditions. Once formally put to work, human trafficking victims can be forced to service from 40 to 110 customers in one day.[1] Malnutrition, sleep deprivation, as well as emotional and physical abuse become day-to-day normalities. In addition, forced abortions and the contraction of STI’s, Hepatitis B & C, and AIDS are ever looming probabilities. Life for a victim of sex trafficking is hell on earth. This injustice is the reason The A21 Campaign exists.
To support this ministry and the A21 Campaign’s fight with human trafficking, we are asking you a favor.

From Pastor Dave:
Jesus is sweeping through the Church with judgement! He told me a “revelation and reformation”-Word-for the next move of His Glory. Al before Him are thieves and robbers. Our righteousness is as filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6) Apart from Him-Jesus-We are nothing. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
The fruit of the Spirit is the resplendence of God’s Glory shining (flowing) through the believer in Christ.
Jesus Christ is the Glory of God! God’s glory then, is revealed to the earth from the ‘Sons of God’!!!
Releasing the anointing that God has placed on your life sets the “captives” free! Be all He would have you to be! Rahab saw something worth risking her life over. What did she see? What could make a person trust a total stranger(s), be willing to die for these strangers and even risk the life of her entire family? What would make a person you just met to be loyal to you, trust you, defend you and even help you escape from the hands of your enemies?
In addition to this, Rhab was told her “home” would be destroyed!
Do you get the picture of abandonment to God for Christ?
How was her faith rewarded? Where does her faith take her?where is her lineage found? (Glory in the lineage of the Messiah…Jesus!) Can you say, “In Your Hands I commit my spirit?”
What level of trust do you have in the Lord? Is your commitment to follow Him evident regardless of your surrounding circumstances?

FundRaising Ideas: Step 2 For Business Or Ministry Marketing Success
The fundraising ideas focus series for business or ministry marketing success continues with step 2.
Focus Defined
The word focus is defined as “a central point, as of attraction, attention, or activity.” I’d like to hone in on the part of definition that involves concentration: to focus one’s thoughts.
The mind is an incredible gift from God. As it says in His Word, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”(Proverbs 23:7)
So the beginning key to having market plan focus has to start in the mind.
Well, I love acronyms, so I took the letters in focus and found five central thoughts to improve your market plan focus for success in ministry, business and life!
STEP 2 “O” ONLY CONCENTRATE ON WHAT BRINGS RESULTS
you are ready for step two which centers on the key that you work or walk out those things the most that produce the result. In other words, your action has to fit what you desire to see happen.
Once again, take Jesus’ life. He was always about the Father’s business. He came to seek and save the lost. His mission from the moment He came to this earth was set.
That’s why you’ll find Him at 12 years old spending time talking with the religious leaders at the temple.
He may have waited until He was 30 to begin His actual recorded ministry, but every step of the way was marked by an amazing focus. One of my mentor’s, Dani Johnson, a business success coach andanointed teacher, instructs how 80% of your action should be in doing that which produces the results. For example, if you are in a business where you get paid based on how many people you recruit in your business, 80% of the time should be talking to people on the phone or communicating online to share the opportunity.
You may be in a business where you get paid based on people buying a product. So, the majority of your time is set to perform those actions to see that people purchase your product.
That 80% could be divided up in numerous directions, from marketing to labeling. If you make money selling cookies, well I hope your oven is hot and your baking cookies!I think you get the idea.
From there, 19% should be on training and learning, and 1 % on problem solving.
I love the 19% focusing on training or learning. You could alsomark that as personal development. As Dani says,
“The marketplace pays for value. Your value is your skill or knowledge.”
So you may as well spend a proportion of time increasing that knowledge or learning a new skill.
Spending 1% on problem solving has to be summed up as, “Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
One small example: Don't waste the majority of your time cleaning your desk or getting your filing done before you work.
To walk out this 80% working, 19% training, and 1% problem solving, you may very well have to watch less television, play less golf, or cut down on something else that takes so much of your time. It might mean you have to learn a new skill. You may have to go the extra distance....but with the destination in view, it’s worth it!

A Lawrencevlle Dental Group under the direction of Dr. Bill Williams, from Suwanee Dental Care, set out on this mission as recorded by his blog entry here..
Is A Kenya Dental Mission In Your Future?
Can you imagine pulling 645 teeth in a week, especially if you are just a freshman in dental school?
Who would have thought that ten years after our initial landing in Kenya for our first dental mission to the legendary Masai tribe that we would be celebrating Kenya Medical Outreach’s 15th mission trip with a KMO alumni cookout at our home in Suwanee, GA and planning our 16th for the summer of 2011?
Why do we fly eight hours to London, nine hours to Nairobi and drive six hours over tarmac and dirt roads to reach the “Forgotten People” of Olmekenyu? Why do 23 Americans from all walks of life save, sacrifice, do odd jobs, send out letters for support, fundraise, and do whatever it takes to gather the $4000 it takes to go on the mission trip, some year after year after year?
Why would a young Masai man escort his wife 40 kilometers across the border from Tanzania to the remote village of Morijo in Kenya arriving in the dead of night to see the mission team from America?
Why would 2000 people line up outside out hospital clinic in the heat of the African summer on the equator?
Why would our full time missionaries in Kenya wait with Leonard, our patient from Olmekenyu who had his nose eaten away by tuberculosis, for six days in a dank, dark Nairobi hospital while the boy was examined and the diagnosis confirmed?
Well, the questions could go on and on, but the bottom line is that we offer hope to the tens of thousands who live in the land of the Masai Mara and its surrounding environs. We came to a long forgotten area of Kenya over a decade ago and we never left. Many years have passed; many have traveled to this exotic land with us. Typically, one third of our 20-25 Kenya Medical Outreach mission teams are alumni now, one third are our friends from our area (Atlanta, Georgia) who have never been on our mission, and one third are, amazingly, strangers who found out about our trips from either the Suwaneedental.com or Kenyamo.com web site. They take a leap of faith and sign up with us sight unseen. Our team members have come from California, Florida, Missouri, Boston, Dallas, Mississippi, the Carolinas, Tennessee and beyond.
The makeup of our team is typically this: one dentist (DMD or DDS), maybe two, a few pre-dental students, some high school students, several teachers or housewives, a physician (MD or DO), three nurses (RN or LPN), perhaps a dental hygienist (RDH) and either a nurse practitioner (NP) or a psychian’s assistant (PA). Pastors, businessmen and pharmacists may round out the group in any particular year.
What is a typical day like on the mission field? In Olmekenkyu, we built three bunkhouses and have a kitchen / dining hall for serving our team breakfast. The number of patients for dental and medical services builds as the morning dawns and by 8:00 a.m. fifty are in line.
We finish our toast, boiled or fried eggs, Kenya tea and by nine o’clock when we begin seeing patients, there are three hundred in the line. We divide into medical, dental, optometry, worming stations. Some of our team hike up the hill to the Olmekenyu Primary School to work with the students, teach, lead Bible Study, or meet with the school administrators about projects we support like water tanks, glass window installations for classrooms or concreting floors.
The Lawrenceville Dental Group team is six or seven team members strong. We work with a local dentist, Dr. Daniel from Narok, as our coverage on the mission and we have an ample number of surgical instruments donated by Dr. Arun Nayyar and others to perform extractions, although we have my portable Asceptico dental unit for fillings and scaling. Our system is this: we numb ten patients, extract, numb ten patients, extract, numb ten patients, extract. We go for hours like that, doing mostly simple extractions, sometimes surgical extractions and an occasional filling or ultrasonic scaling. Tea time is honored as our team takes a break at 11:00 a.m. and then lunch at one or two in the afternoon. Our team usually has a designated camp cook and the food is generally outstanding, even when local produce and meats such as chicken, lamb and goat are in the offering. The experience for non-dental folks in the dentistry department is memorable. Getting up-close and personal with the how-to and techniques of exodontia is a certainty. Pulling a tooth is common for lay folks on our mission trips. Dental students become fully capable and competent to handle almost any extraction after being on one of our mission teams. The experience is worth a fortune to any dental student ready to graduate into the real world of private practice; just ask Matt Milner from the Medical University of Mississippi School of Dentistry, Hubert Park from Tufts University School of Dentistry or Caroline Norment from the Medical University of South Carolina School of Dentistry.
The opportunity to give back to others who have no ability to receive but by the grace of God those dental services we offer is why we do what we do. In the areas we go to, there is no dentist, no physician to see them; there are no instruments, no supplies, no anesthetics, no clinics where people can seek help for even a simple tooth ache. They are left with primitive options by untrained nurses who have inadequate tools for the job. Where we go, we try to train the nurses and give them a set of proper instruments for tooth removal. We show them the techniques for gaining adequate dental anesthesia so that their extractions are painless. It’s the least we can do because we’ll be gone in a few days….until next year.
In Kenya, at the equator, the sun sets at six o’clock, so we try to be completed by then each day. More than once we’ve worked by flashlight in the dark. Each day we may see over 100 dental patients and 200 medical patients in our clinics. Its rewarding as well as tiring. The dinner hour is a time of reflection on the day and talking about what transpired in our individual clinics. Man, the stories we hear - the tales that are told! There is never a dull moment on mission in Africa.
